Rental Office Closure
Given the new measures taken by the provincial government regarding COVID-19, CAPREIT has taken the necessary steps to limit community interaction in our office until February 8, 2021. While contacting us via electronically or by phone is preferable, CAPREIT will temporarily accept visitors to our rental office by appointment only. Please use the management office’s phone number or email for administrative matters and to book appointments and use the Resident Portal to submit all service requests. Face Masks We would like to remind you that it is mandatory for residents to wear face masks in all common areas, including the lobby, elevator, laundry room and hallways, as mandated by the provincial/municipal governments. We ask that you wear a face mask that covers your nose and mouth completely, and that you remove it only when you have entered your unit. Paying Rent Given these restrictions, we invite you to use one of these convenient payment methods to pay your rent and/or any outstanding arrears: 1. Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP): Your monthly rent payment is automatically withdrawn from your bank account. Contact us to receive the forms or you can sign up directly on the Resident Portal by visiting, https://capreit.residentonline.ca/. Once you log in, we have made it easy for you to sign up. Enter your banking information, upload a picture of a void cheque, and select the month you wish to start. 2. One-Time Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP): If you would prefer the convenience of paying by PAP, but don’t want the monthly rent deduction commitment, we can now offer you the ability to make a one-time PAP payment. Contact us and we will be happy to guide you through this set up. 3. On-line banking: Follow these easy steps: a. Call or email the Management Office to receive your account/reference number. You can also email payonline@capreit.net for assistance. b. Search for us via your online banking platform. c. Set up CAP REIT (our payee name has a space between P and R) as the payee and insert your account number so that we know you made a payment. 4. Debit/Credit Card Payments via Rentmoola: Want to use your debit or credit card? Go to https://rentmoola.com/capreit and use your CAPREIT account/reference number to register. If you don’t know your account number, call or email the Management Office. In order to pay with your debit card please ensure it is Visa/Mastercard debit enabled. 5. Cheques: Kindly drop off cheques in the Management Office drop box. We will continue to monitor the situation very closely and will keep you updated. We appreciate your patience, support and commitment to keeping our community safe.
